The first print I accidentally printed a brim, however it helped the pieces stick, but it also impacted the movement.

I wanted to create a more subtle detail so I used a dark colour on the back and chose to take out the yellow part of the bee. I used a backing and sewed it onto the pocket as I thought it was the most appropriate place.

Trialling embroidery using it to sew layers of tule to each other and create texture. As well as another try of digital embroidery with a backing, however the bobbin thread came through more than I would have liked.

Trialling my fish design – didn’t work out as well as I would have liked, next time I will use a backing.

I created texture using vinyl cutting and layered the different colours on the acrylic, the fish would be a necklace so I played with how it might sit.
