Final outcome 2 for vinyl cutting- a necklace with 2 layers of acrylic to give depth as well as texture. Made from scrap acrylic collected through my time at massey and making use of scrap material.

Using the acrylic to layer texture over the base colour. Again creating interest using depth by layering on the acrylic. The fish will be a necklace so playing with how it might sit.

Bangles made of acrylic using vinyl to later and create depth, also using texture. Can be stacked in different to create different patterns.

How does the pattern work, placement as a necklace – it’s a bit big, I will make it a bit smaller.

Trialling different ways of laying vinyl cutting on acrylic to create texture and depth.

I used these files in addition to files I made for laser cutting to play with vinyl cutting and layering using laser cut acrylic.

Creating depth through layering

3d printed onto silk organza to play with heavy vs light weight materials. The tiles over hang each other and create sound when worn through movement.
